Joy, joy, joy. Read a good book last night -- yep, a whole book in one night.... it was THAT good. Talked with some good friends this morning on the phone and laughed. Checked my Facebook page and giggled some more. I love having Facebook to reconnect with old friends. My girls are loving softball.... my house is getting cleaner by the minute. Laundry's almost caught up. It's pretty outside.... going to the beach this weekend with my hubby -- ALL ALONE! Jacob's at lunch bunch today so a little more "ME" time.... Life is good. Hope you're having a great day too!

What book was it?
It's called Flirting with Forty. It was fun but it had a good message, too. It's about a 39 year old facing her 40th who just got a divorce b/c her husband was cheating & she realizes that the fairy tale turned into emptiness... lost herself along the way and realizes everyone she knows does the same thing. Everyone's so into their cars and houses and country clubs and they are living authentic lives. So she meets a guy -- on a beach in Hawaii -- he's a surfer & tattooed & hot -- and he's the best thing that ever happened to her. He helped her discover who she really is and made her feel good about herself again. It's a great story.
That would be "they AREN'T living authentic lives"... whoooops

I need a fun book like that will make me think I'm 40 and YOUNG! Just wait til I loose that 15 poundds!
