Ballet Party

I'm always so excited to receive new photos from my talented friend, Kate Petronis of And Everything Sweet. Kate is a cake decorator and loves to style beautiful parties. I hope you are inspired by her latest dessert table for a sweet ballerina baby shower. Kate asked to alter some of the Amanda's Parties To Go's BALLET PARTY PRINTABLES to make them suitable for the baby shower. The Birthday Version of the set can be found in the shop here.

Kate tells us a little about the party here:

"It's a good thing you like the color pink Mommy, 'cause you're making A LOT of pink things!!" (Said my sweet little Olivia yesterday as I was working on this table)

And WHOA was she right!! THAT was a lot of pink!!! ;)

But it wasn't TUTU much because they're HAVING A GIRL!! And how do you celebrate your first little baby girl? You splash pink decorations all over the room, gather friends and indulge on PINK desserts. (that's where I come in).

The expectant mama has a real passion for dance and loves Angelina Ballerina. They wanted sweet, pink, ballet themed yumminess on a table and that's just what they got! I had SO much fun putting together this table because as my sweet Olivia pointed out, I LOVE pink! I will admit however that the tutu table skirt nearly killed me. I never want to work with that much tulle again!! (*picture yards and yards of tulle, an abundance of static electricity and one innocent little baker, ME, caught in the middle of it all*).  But other than that I just had "tutu" much fun.

Thank you, Kate! Your work inspires us all to make beautiful parties for our own little ones.

BALLET PARTY INVITATION to coordinate with the
Ballet Party Printables set can also be found in the shop.

Valentines Freebie!

IT IS FREEBIE time!
Just in time for Valentine's Day

Here  are super easy ideas that will please boys and girls!
YOU ARE A GREAT CATCH!

Favor treats are always fun!
It makes me happy to give someone a cute little package that is handmade.

To package this treat you will need scrapbook paper(optional), FREE Valentine treat topper, clear bags, scissors and a stapler.

If you use the scrapbook inside the clear bags, make sure you cut the scrapbook paper slightly smaller than the bag. Place the swedish fish inside and place the treat bag topper over the ziploc bag. Staple to attach together on each side of the treat bag topper.

This one is my favorites!! How cute is this?
Just download the FREE Valentine Fish Bowl and cut.  Place the fish bowl printable inside a clear bag(I got mine at the Dollar Tree) and the red swedish fish.

Tie with a cute bow and you are done! Super cute and easy!

To create this look, simply download the FREE Valentine treat toppers and glue it to the metal pails. I found the metal pails at the Dollar Tree (3 for $1). Fill the pails with red swedish fish. Easy peasy!

Just the way I like it! ;)

Valentines Party

What a lovely Valentines Party I'm sharing today from the talented Ellen of Ellen Bessette Events. Ellen put together a stunningly sweet party for a little girl given by her grandmother. What a wonderful idea! And best of all, she used Valentines Party printables to embellishment her beautiful party, too.

Ellen says, "I wanted this party to be perfect! Ruffles, pink and lots of sweets!" And then the wind came. Wind can be a party stylists worst nightmare and that day, I think it just might have been for Ellen. She says, "The wind nearly destroyed my setup and blew my handmade heart backdrop into tangles, blew over a flower arrangement and broke the crystal candlestick, name place cards and food labels went flying, etc."

Poor, Ellen! But seriously, you would never know from these gorgeous photos. After the chaos of the wind and quite a bit of reassembling, Ellen says, "But the girls had a great time and at the end of the party that’s really all that matters! The girls enjoyed lots of fun crafts, facepainting, running around the yard with their tutu wands, filling their bags with goodies and a scavenger hunt at the end of the party."

Thank you so much for sharing your hard work and beautiful party styling with us, Ellen! You brought my Valentines Party printables to life!
