Baseball party (Customer Feature)

It's Spring ball season and we have a wonderful baseball party to showcase today. While working on my own son's next birthday, I received an email from a favorite client, Charlene, who wanted a baseball party for her own son. Perfect timing we thought! Charlene got to work on the details and used my BASEBALL PARTY PRINTABLES to decorate the space. However, Charlene was soon faced with a tremendous challenge - a diagnosis of breast cancer at 40 years old.

This is just the type of thing that makes Charlene so special. In the midst of tests, doctor visits, chemo and other obstacles, Charlene still wanted to make her oldest's 10th birthday super special. With the help of friends and family, last weekend she did just that! Just check out the details of this amazing baseball party!

From the baseball themed cake pops, cake and cupcakes to the cotton candy, peanuts and sunflower seeds, Charlene made her own concessions stand right in her den. Baby Ruths, popcorn and licorice rounded out the dessert table and surely made the boys feel like they were at the ballpark.

The boys had a great time making hot dogs, ice cream sundaes, playing baseball video games and going outside for a rousing round of baseball, too. They loved the baseball piñata filled with candy and prizes and then settled down for the night with movies and snacks.

Each guest went home with a snack tray favor complete with Big League Chew, peanuts, sunflower seeds, a toy baseball and baseball cards. How fun is that? And best of all, Charlene created a memory that her son and the rest of the family will cherish for many years to come.

Thank you, Charlene, for sharing your wonderful party photos!

We wish you the best with your treatment and pray for your speedy recovery!

BASEBALL PARTY PRINTABLES: Amanda's Parties To Go

Free Mother's Day Printables

My talented friend Cris McGrath from Crissy's Crafts set up a gorgeous display for Mother's Day that I've been so excited to share with you all. Cris used Amanda's Parties To Go's
FREE Mother's Day Printable Set and created a lovely poolside soiree that I hope will provide wonderful inspiration for your own Mother's Day celebrations this weekend. Enjoy the photos.... details to follow at the end of the post.

Cris says, I created a rich and vibrant Pre Mother's day Lunch. Amanda's gorgeous contemporary printable patterns were the perfect combination to add style and color to our lunch.  I wanted to have a summery feeling so I set the dinning table by the pool. To match with the printable, I made two no-sew table runners using coordinating fabric and ribbon. The runners were used as place mats. Lots and lots of colorful lanterns were a huge element to bring the summery feeling to our outdoor setting.  Using the Mother's Day printable coordinating paper patterns, I embellished the vases to display big silk gerberas daisies and gorgeous flower balls that I borrowed from a friend.  Before lunch, the guests enjoyed tomato basil bruschetta, antipasto kabobs and fresh fruit along with mint lemonade. For lunch, we served salad in parmesan bowl, grilled salmon and vegetable rice medley.  The sweet table was simple and didn't have too many sweets. Using a flower trellis as backdrop, I hung the gorgeous Mother's Day banner. The sweets include brigadier (brazilian fudge), mini cheesecakes, flower pops and marshmallow flower cupcakes.  I found the perfect wrapping paper at Target and used to bring color to the sweet table. I found the napkins at Target and used them as coasters for the mint lemonade glasses. The brigadiers cups, lemonade glasses and treat bags were embellished the using the coordinating paper patterns. We set up a Planting Station for the children and parents to enjoy some spring planting. The children also had fun making a hand flower keepsake for their mommies. Each mommy received a Bath and Body Works hand soap and a cute box full of kisses. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon surround by a beautiful setting. ________________________________________________ DOWNLOAD THE FREE MOTHER'S DAY PRINTABLES Vendors: Styling, food and photography: Crissy's Crafts   FREE Mother's Day Printables: Amanda's Parties To Go
