Then you can wrap the box in the decorative paper and add a twine bow with one of my Father's Day tags. These ties could also be used to top wrapped gifts.

Rainbow Fish Inspired Party

I've been looking forward to sharing this adorable party from Cris over at Crissy's Crafts using Amanda's Parties To Go's newest collection, Little Fishy. This sweet party was not only featured on Amy Atlas but also Kara's Party Ideas. It's full of adorable ideas and swimmingly cute inspiration for your own summer pool and ocean themed parties.

Cris tells us all about the party:

“We had my son’s 3rd birthday party couple of days ago, and I’d like to share with you some of the highlights of the party. My son loves water and the rainbow fish book so we decided to do a Little Fish Party!

The party was a breeze to style using the Little Fishy printables from Amanda’s Party to Go. The colors were so bright and fun!

For the dessert table, the children enjoyed fishy cupcakes, fish food (m&m’s), fish pops, cake pops, marshmallow pops, jelly fish (Jello), bait (gummy worms in a bucket), school of fish (gummy fish), and deep blue sea juice. And can you believe those adorable fondant fish cupcake toppers from Edible Details!

Before the kids hit the sweet table, the little guests ate Whale crackers, fish sandwiches, fish skewers (fruits), fin-tastic veggies and submarines.

The kids also enjoyed an afternoon full of games and crafts. The activities included Go Fish, Pin the Scale on the fish, Fish Hand Print Art, Face Painting, and Freeze little fish dance. At the end of the party, the guests took home the ‘catch of the day’ (fish string bag on a fish pole) full of goodies!”

Mother's Day Brunch

My talented friend Cris McGrath from Crissy's Crafts set up a gorgeous display for Mother's Day that I've been so excited to share with you all. Cris used Amanda's Parties To Go's FREE Mother's Day Printable Set found here and created a lovely poolside soiree that I hope will provide wonderful inspiration for your own Mother's Day celebrations this weekend. Enjoy the photos.... details to follow at the end of the post.

Cris says, "Inspired by Amanda's Parties To Go free Mother's Day printable, I created a rich and vibrant Pre Mother's day Lunch. Amanda's gorgeous contemporary patterns but yet sweet design was the perfect combination to add style and color to our lunch.

I wanted to have a summery feeling so I set the dinning table by the pool. To match with the printable, I made two no-sew table runners using coordinating fabric and ribbon. The runners were used as place mats. Lots and lots of colorful lanterns were a huge element to bring the summery feeling to our outdoor setting.

Using the Mother's Day printable coordinating paper patterns, I embellished the vases to display big silk gerberas daisies and gorgeous flower balls that I borrowed from a friend.

Before lunch, the guests enjoyed tomato basil bruschetta, antipasto kabobs and fresh fruit along with mint lemonade. For lunch, we served salad in parmesan bowl, grilled salmon and vegetable rice medley.

The sweet table was simple and didn't have tons of sweets. Using a flower trellis as backdrop, I hang the gorgeous Mother's Day banner. The sweets include brigadeiro(brazilian fudge), mini cheesecakes, flower pops and marshmallow flower cupcakes.

I found the perfect wrapping paper at Target and used to bring color to the sweet table. I also found the SIP napkins at Target and used as coasters for the mint lemonade glasses. I embellished the brigadeiros cups, lemonade glasses and treat bags using the coordinating paper patterns.

We set up a Planting Station for the children and parents to enjoy some spring planting. The children also had fun making a hand flower keepsake for their mommies.

Each mommy received a Bath & Body Works hand soap and a cute box full of kisses.
It was a fun and relaxing afternoon surround by a beautiful setting.
