{Customer Feature} Magic Party!

Abra Cadabra, Alla Kazoo.... I want to share a fun MAGIC PARTY with you! Fellow Etsian, Rene´ Roberts from Renee's Soirees hosted a fun little party for her child, Colin, and recently sent over some photos from the big event. This is such a fun party idea for girls and boys of all ages. Whether you hire a magician as Rene´ did or teach the kids a few magic tricks yourself, this party theme will surely create lots of excitement.

Rene´ used Shindig's MAGIC PARTY PRINTABLES as a simple way to decorate and set the tone of the party. With fun, homemade desserts like the magician's hat marshmallow pops and push up cupcake pops and some other store-bought items like doughnuts and cinnamon rolls, Rene´ pulled together an amazingly cute party table in no time at all without going over budget. And that adorable cake came from a local bakery, Cake Cafe, is a show stopper!

New MONSTER Party Printables

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great week and making some fun plans for the weekend. Around here everyone is getting geared up for the first Auburn tailgate and game of the season.... only one more week! That's an exciting event around these hallowed football grounds.

I've been working really hard lately on a couple of new designs that I'm thrilled to share. Kristyn over at Lil' Luna where I'm a contributor, has a sweet little boy named Gavin who will be turning 2 next month. Kristyn wanted a fun, colorful monster party theme and I couldn't wait to get started on the design. With a monster theme, the sky is the limit and is so much fun for anyone creative. Everywhere I look these days it seems I find a way to turn an every day item into a monster!

I thought I'd give you a quick peek at the MONSTER BASH printables set. It is my favorite design to date, and I have to say when I printed these cuties out, I smiled from ear to ear. The colors are so much fun and the monsters are pretty adorable, too (if I do say so myself). After seeing the print outs, my daughter who's been by my side all during the design process said, "Mom, they came to life!"

I felt the same way. They seem like they should be walking around the house stealing snacks from the cookie jar!

I hope you love them, too! The MONSTER PARTY printable set is in my Etsy shop now if you want to find out more about what is included. I think they would be fun for a Halloween party, too.

I simply CAN NOT WAIT until little Gavin's party. With Kristyn's talent and fun crafting ideas, I'm sure it's going to be a show stopper!

Back to School Party Dessert Table

The web has been such an amazing source of inspiration for me in the party business. I'm completely in awe of some of the fabulous bakers, cake decorators and party stylists out there. One who never disappoints is the team over at Sweets Indeed. Recently, the girls styled an unbelievably creative and simply stunning party table for a charity collaboration with Leapfrog and the Jayneoni Moore Children's Fund. The money was used to send school supplies and Tag Reading Systems from Leapfrog to low-income classrooms throughout the United States.

Marie from Sweets Indeed tells a little about the dessert table:
"We designed the “cupcake brunch” portion of the event complete with a school themed dessert station and snack station for the kiddies. We wanted to incorporate the “inspire, believe, educate” moto and the importance of reading into the decor. The flavor tags were created to look like the library cards of different children’s books. Hand crafted book cake stands and a cupcake cubby held the carefully decorated mini desserts. We called upon Vanilla Bake Shop for their tasty mini’s and fondant details. The book worms are still my favorite!"

I'm so inspired by everything Marie and her team over at Sweets Indeed styles. Simply stunning! And I love the impact simple and inexpensive tissue poms have on the amazing backdrop. I hope Marie's ideas inspire you throughout the year with all your teacher appreciation days and class parties.

Fun Back to School Freebies and Ideas

My bloggy friend Heather over at Pirates and Princesses is quite the talent with party tables. Every so often, Heather does a TV spot for her local TV news and sometimes I'm lucky enough that she even chooses my ideas to share. Last week Heather shared this adorable Back to School table full of cute ideas including my pencil vase and apple Oreo pops. How much fun!

I love the vase filled with magnetic letters and numbers and those apple cupcakes are not only perfect for the theme but they're so simple to make, too.

Heather found these cupcake toppers over at Williams Sonoma. So cute!
