I've had so many submissions of customer parties over the last several weeks that I'd love to share with you all. Today's party is a super cute, "home-made by Mom" kind of party made with Shindig's Pink Elmo inspired Printables Collection. Amanda went all out to make her daughter Lucy's second birthday one for the entire family to remember. I just love that she tackled so many of the great ideas from party websites herself.... the cake, marshmallow pops, decorated cookies, and so much more.
Amanda says, "Our house was drenched in everything Elmo and Lucy loved it! She kept saying Elmooo!!!"
About the cake Amanda says, "My mom has always made every birthday cake for my sister and I, our wedding cakes, baby shower cakes - everything. It was special for me to have her make Lucy's 1st birthday cake and then I wanted to attempt to make Lucy's 2nd birthday cake. I have a lot more respect for my mom and others who decorate cakes.... it is not easy!"
Lucy's dad even made the Elmo head over the mantle from wood for his baby girl. Amanda says, "This was the first thing she saw when she woke up from her nap and came out to check out the party."
The entire family got involved in this sweet party.... one of my favorite photos is this adorable one of the dad's mom, grandmom, aunt and cousin all dressed up in Elmo t-shirts. How cute is that!
Thanks so much for sharing this amazing party with us, Amanda!
